Biggest computer software giant Adobe finally release that they are going to buy design software firm Figma for $20 Billion.

Adobe is acquiring figma! Biggest computer software giant Adobe finally release that they are going to buy design software firm Figma for $20 Billion. Adobe announced Thursday that it will acquire design software firm Figma in a deal worth about $20 billion in cash and stock. Shares of Adobe sank 17%, their biggest plunge since 2010. Combination of Adobe and Figma Will Usher in New Era of Collaborative Creativity

Recently Adobe released that they are going to acquire Figma. This deal is worth $20 Billion United States dollars. This is also like the deal between Facebook and WhatsApp.

Adobe said it will integrate some of the features from its other products, such as illustration, photography, and video technology, into Figma’s platform. Adobe sells a range of software services for photo and video professionals, like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and more.

Figma’s Founder & CEO Dylan Field announced on their official site blog on September 15, 2022, that 

 

“Today, we’re announcing that Figma has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Adobe. This has been in the works over the past few months and I’m so excited to finally share this news with the world.”

There is also a piece of good news for Figma that adobe will keep Dylan Field as the CEO of Figma and will continue to run the company. He’ll report to David Wadhwani, president of Adobe’s digital media business. It is a big change in the design industry. People expect that this collaboration will be a great game-changing deal this year. Integration of other software services to Figma will power it more. 

On the other hand, Adobe beat its biggest competitor in this software category. Although there is a good relationship between David Wadhwani and Dylan Field so it is expected that Figma will expand more.
